Hello all,
Just a couple of things that I wanted to say,
1.a) Thank you to all cadets who were in attendance this past Monday (01 Feb) Your drill was remarkably good, and I am extremely impressed with the effort and abilities that you all display that night.
1.b) A special thank you for those of you who came out, despite the fact that it is your exam week. Good Luck on the rest of them.
2.) You may or not know, I am wishing to start a band at this squadron before my time is up. (... wow, I sound like I'm dying, but really I'm just aging out) I believe I should be able to make the time for it after my University Audition to the Faculty of Music at the University of Manitoba. This would be starting off as just a simple band off to the side playing a few tunes, and depending on how it turns out, we could move into marching band materials. I do have conducting experience and drum major experience, so those voids to not need to be filled. I would like to know if Monday's before Cadets (so let's say 5:30pm) would work as a good practice time for those cadets interested?
Leave a reply or find me at Cadets.
