Band (220 Sqn and 191 Sqn)

Amazing Job!
I was VERY proud of how well you all did for the 220 Sqn 70th Anniversary Parade.

Mr H Mar (was Maj Mar in charge of the entire Prairie Region Cadet Band Program [including Band Camp] for a LOT of years) told us after the parade (and I'm reminding you) that he was very impressed with how well you played and that a Band can make all the difference to a parade. Everyone else has to work at their drill, uniforms etc., but really, only a Band can pull everyone together and make the entire group shine!

General Walt Natynczyk told me personally how impressed he was with the Band. He knows from personal experience that a lot of you just started band a few short months ago, and he told me it was obvious that you had all worked very hard since then in order to sound your best on Parade!

VERY WELL DONE EVERYONE!

Next Big Gig!
Unlike the rest of the Sqn, we're not in holiday mode yet <Grin>. We need to make the most of our next few rehearsals because there is only 2 Sunday's between now and the 191 Sqn Change of Command Parade on Friday, 14 December (at Minto). So, yes, there will be Band this Sunday, 1230-1500 at Minto Armoury.

Here are the details on the upcoming CoC Parade.
