Cadets will participate in the Christmas Elves & Gift Wrapping at Winnipeg Airport (WAA) under the supervision of the staff of 220 RCACS.
We will have a table set up with cadet brochures, gift wrap, ribbons and gift tags and we will also have 220 Dream Flyer set up. Cadets will be helping people that wish to try out the Dream Flyer, and helping passenger retrieve their baggage simply by flipping the piece of luggage on the carrousel so it's easier for the passenger to grab when it comes around to them. We did this last year the gesture was quite well received.
We are also including gift wrapping this year, parents/ Guardians, we encourage you to join your cadet/s to volunteer your time to help wrap.
There will be a sign up sheet parade night December 15 2014 for the cadets, parents/guardians to sign up for 3 hours shifts weeknights and 3 hours shifts weekends.
We still have shifts available on:
Saturday, 20 December and Sunday, 21 December afternoons and evenings (12-3pm, 3pm-6pm, 6pm-9pm)
Tuesday, 23 December evening shift (6pm to 9pm)
