Cadets have the
opportunity to participate in the Santa Claus / Grey Cup Parade on Saturday, November 28 under the
supervision of the staff of 220 Red River Air Canada Squadron.
This is an optional
220 Squadron activity with the objective to promote the Cadet Program as a fun
youth organization within the community.
DROP OFF POINT: Young Street off Broadway by 3:45 pm (Cadet Float’s #
46). Parents should walk with their cadet to the
float and check in with the staff.
No meal will be
provided. Cadets should have eaten a meal prior to arrival.
CADETS SHALL BE
DRESSED APPROPRIATELY TO BE OUTDOORS FOR OVER 4 HOURS Cadets will wear full
uniform. Wear layers: issued winter jacket or winter coat (dark-coloured)
mitts, scarf, toque, we will be standing for a long period of time on concrete
waiting for our turn to march a total of over 4 kilometres.
Cadets may bring cameras for the event; however the
squadron DOES NOT accept responsibility for lost or damaged property.
The parade ends at
The Forks (approximately 7:00pm).
PICK-UP POINT: Canadian Museum for Human Rights. 85 Israel Asper
Way. Parents are required to check out their cadet with the staff before
leaving.
