Southport Tour Trip
Southport is looking forward to hosting 220 Sqn Air Cadets on site this week 22nd and 23rd April.

Friday, 22 April 2016
7:30 am - Meet at Minto
8:00 am - Depart Minto
9:00 am - Arrive at Southport. Check In at Southport Office to pick up keys etc.
(First Building on your right past the residential area)
All rooms will be in the Barker Building
9:30am-Noon - KF Aero - Tour Hilly Brown Building, Hangar 1 and 2
12:30-1:30pm - Lunch at Voyageur Place (Mess)
1:45-330pm - Red River College - Stevenson Campus - tour
5:30 pm - Dinner at Voyageur Place
7-10 pm - Southport Recreation Centre / Movie Night – SSC will cover movie tickets.
Cadets, bring money for snacks / drinks
Saturday April 23, 2016
8:00 am - Breakfast at Voyageur Place
9am-Noon - Southport Recreation Centre 220/575 Cadets
12:00 pm – Lunch at Voyageur Place
1:00 pm – Depart Southport for Winnipeg
2:00 pm – Arrive at Minto – Pickup by parents
Kit List:
Uniform: Wear/travel in your uniform Friday morning. The whole tour will be conducted in uniform, and there will probably not be time to change.
Bring your toiletries (toothbrush, shampoo, etc.), towel, and pyjamas for a 1 night stay.
Bring civilian clothes for the evening at the movies, etc. and the drive home
Bring your sports gear for the Saturday morning sports events with 575 Sqn
Notes:
There are vending machines in the Recreation Centre but currently no cash machines on site.(bring change)
There are fridges and microwaves in all rooms.
