Transportation
Transportation to/from Springhill is NOT provided. Parents are encouraged to carpool.
Equipment rentals and beginners (introductory) lesson are included.
Lunch will be paid for by the Sqn Sponsoring Committee (SSC)
Cadets may wish to bring a small amount of cash so they can purchase their own snacks
Dress
Cadets should wear their 220 Red River Sqn hoodies and/or jackets if they have one. We have reflectors to hand out so we can see them on the hill, and they will have different colour lift tags as well. Cadets should dress warmly, in layers, so they can easily adjust to match the wind chill and their level of effort. The weather forecast for Saturday, is a mix of sun and clouds, with a high of -7°C (which will feel like -13, with the wind chill). There is a 40% chance of snow, and winds are expected to be 20 km/h.
Contact Information
If the Emergency contact information provided on the sign-up sheet changes, Cadets need to bring the updated information with them. We need to be able to contact the parent(s) of all cadets at a moments notice, just in case. There will be at least four (screened) adults in attendance (two CIC Staff members, and two SSC members).

General
Cadets are to arrive at Springhill by 10:00 am Saturday morning, and meet in the meeting room next to the office at Springhill Winter Park for attendance so we know exactly who we have in attendance (and how much to pay Springhill) and explain the Rules of Engagement for the day. Of the 27 cadeets signed up, there are a few with a Springhill Seasons Pass. If those cadets could please identify themselves at the 10:00 meeting that would be appreciated. Springhill is graciously not charging us for the Seasons Pass owners. Cadets will then have their equipment sized and will be divided into groups for introductory lessons as appropriate. The schedule calls for cadets to be done for the day by 4:30 pm (1630) but if this changes, we will notify parents (guardians) using the contact information.
